Many customers enquire as to the difference between locking and non-locking corners on Samba Goals. A locking corner consists of a popper in each corner bracket, ensuring that the goal posts stay firmly together, even if moved around. On the non locking models, there is a small chance that some of the sections of the goal can come apart if the goal is moved around. In day-to-day usage the goals will not come apart, it is really only necessary to have the locking corners on your Samba goal if it is going to be moved around a great deal.
All of our soccer goals are available in a variety of sizes and specifications so there is a football goal to suit every age and size of child, be it for use at home or at school or club level. Be sure to check which Samba goals are recommended for school or club as opposed to home use. Please note that the main difference between PVC used on the Fun range and UPVC used on the other ranges is one of strength, UPVC being more durable than standard PVC. One of the most popular sized goals is the 8ft x 6ft as it is large enough for older children whilst not being too large as to intimidate younger ones. All Samba goals come complete with all that you need to get up and running eg pegs, clips and clear assembly instructions.
Samba also offer a good array of accessories, such as training bibs, marker cones and pumps to complement their goals and details of these can be found on our web pages. Don't forget that carry-bags are supplied with some goals as standard but on other goals are optional extras.
