TP Wooden Swings are available in both the Sherwood and Forest ranges. The TP Forest range is designed for children up to the age of 10 and consists of both single and double frame options. The Forest swings come as standard with swing seats, though additional infant and toddler swing seats can also be purchased. Much smaller in size than the Sherwood frames they definitely work well in smaller gardens, though please note that the full range of TP Toys swing seats cannot be added to a Forest Swing Frame.
The TP Sherwood swing-frame range is an 'up to adult weight' frame and the frames, be it a single double or triple, will take any of the TP swing seats. Remember that a double frame is only about a meter wider than a single frame, whilst a triple is only about a meter wider than a double. So if space permits, it may well be worth considering buying a larger frame, especially as the base price only foes up by about £10.
All TP swing frames come complete with all fixings for TP swing seats (apart from with the duo rides such as the Skyride, Rockaboat and Pirate Boat. We are often asked if the TP Forest and Sherwood swing frames need concreting in. Though European safety legislation suggests that they should, the simple answer is that it does depend on the weight of the children using the swings. If the user is a lightweight toddler it is highly unlikely that they would be able to tip the frame over, though we would highly recommend that where older children are using the swings, that they are concreted in.
